A classic Balinese body massage uses the thumb and palm to cover and idealise tired and aching muscles, as well as preventive treatment for your body. The massage is deep and skilfully carried out. Simply tell your therapist if you want a soft, medium or strong massage. As in all our treatments, the oil used is of excellent quality.
In this program, you’ll visit an elementary village school to observe students in class, donate supplies (subject to school sessions), and learn about local culture and customs.
You will then walk through Pacut village and make your way to the rice fields to experience traditional rice farming. After crafting coconut leaves into a hat and a temple offering, you will be treated to a home-cooked lunch at the compound, followed by a session where you can play ensemble gamelan Angklung with a local musician.
Mejaya-jaya is a significant ritual in Bali, intended for honeymooners, business people, and anyone participating in a ceremony aimed at harmonising “Trikaya Parisuda” (thinking, speaking, and acting).
During this experience, you will meet a highly respected individual, the “Brahmin Priest,” who will provide a personal blessing for Mejaya-jaya at his or her temple. The priest’s family will prepare a special offering for this occasion. We kindly ask that you dress in traditional Balinese attire for this tour.
